Nightwalker by Heather Graham

TRACY

Nightwalker by Heather Graham was a refreshingly fun read. I've read all of Heather Graham's books (except one) that she's written in the last few years and she has some hits and some misses - mostly hits. The last few I've read, including the Deadly Trilogy published late 2008, were a bit disappointing. I guess when you read dozens of books every year in same category you start to get the feeling that you're reading the same plots over and over, just different names and different places. But this book was refreshingly different - a big HIT for Heather Graham. The characters are believable and charming, including the ghostly variety of which there are several. There are murders and deaths galore, but even the dead characters aren't necessarily out of the story yet. Some come back as ghosts and join the hunt for whoever is behind all the murders. Storyline even includes a great ghost town, which is always fun. The romance between the hero and heroine is sweet and doesn't overshadow the storyline at all. I'm suddenly looking forward to reading Heather Graham's new book, Dust to Dust which just came out this month.
